This Friday we open the doors on an event that’s very close to our hearts—The John Hancock Sports & Fitness Expo. It’s our 37th year producing this annual celebration of the running community and we cherish this opportunity to welcome visitors from all over the world to our great city. Through the years, the Expo has become an important part of the entire “Marathon Weekend” experience and tradition. We’re very proud of this and we work to make each year very special for all the runners to take on those 26.2 miles with all their friends and family here to cheer them on.
So whether you’re an old friend who visits every year or a new friend enjoying the Boston Marathon® for the first time, we hope the John Hancock Sports & Fitness Expo will be a highlight of the experience for you. Give yourself some time at the Expo. There will be three halls filled with more than 200 exhibitors showcasing the latest apparel, gear, gadgets, events and nutritional and fitness information for athletes of all abilities.
