It’s getting hot in here! There’s one heat wave after the next here in Boston, but they didn’t stop us from producing numerous events for tens of thousands of guests this past month. Let’s reflect by recapping all of the events July 2024 had to offer!
Boston HarborfestSM
There’s no better way to jump-start July than Boston Harborfest! Crowds gathered from July 1–4 to take in Boston’s rich history and entertainment scene. This year we teamed up with the US Navy for performances from the US Navy Band, and traditional favorites like Chowderfest, music at Christopher Columbus Park, and fireworks delighted thousands. And of course, it wouldn’t be Boston Harborfest without cutting the 250-pound cake as part of our opening ceremony.
Summer Concert Series on Brewer Plaza
To help enliven parts of Boston Common, we’ve joined forces with the Friends of the Public Garden to bring 16 musical performances to Brewer Fountain this summer. Our Concert Series continues with pop-up shows from Boston Music Project, US Navy Band, Orchid Reed Band, and more. We can’t wait to continue uniting the community over their love of music in the Boston Common through the end of August!
Boston Navy Week
Ahoy! We assisted the US Navy with publicity and promotion of its annual Navy Week, which visited Boston in early July. As a part of the festivities, the USS Oscar Austin, a Navy destroyer, was docked outside our office at 88 Black Falcon Pier. The free tours gave the public a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience what it’s like to live and work on a Navy battleship. We helped Navy Week secure numerous media placements, including this piece with WCVB.
Mercantile Center Plaza Car Show and Ice Cream Social
We all scream for ice cream!… and cars! We take great pride in helping placemaking events occur for our clients throughout Massachusetts, including assisting our friends at Franklin Realty Advisors, who are delighting their Worcester tenants at Mercantile Center with surprises throughout the summer. On Wednesday, July 17 guests escaped the heat and enjoyed a free cold treat at an ice cream social. The following day guests gathered around the fastest and most stylish cars in town at a car show, while enjoying music and beer from Notch Biergarten in the heart of Downtown Worcester!

Boston Children’s Hospital Corporate Cup
On July 11, we had a ball again hosting the Boston Children’s Hospital Corporate Cup! Nearly 60 company teams battled for this year’s trophy by competing in games like red light green light, volleyball, football toss, and more at the Harvard Athletic Complex. Nearly $1,000,000 was raised to provide children with the breakthroughs, care, and support they need.

Boston 10K for Women™ Training Runs
To help prepare for the Boston 10K for Women, we’ve hosted our first two Run Clubs at REI Fenway! These runs are entirely free and open to race registrants and their guests. We’re thrilled to welcome new sponsors, familiar race ambassadors, and a growing community of empowerment here in our hometown.
