There’s finally a chill in the air, and we know that means it’s the start of another busy season of events! As we welcome fall, let’s reflect on a couple of events we helped produce in September.
Lahey Cancer Institute Walk
On September 7, the Lahey Cancer Institute hosted its 11th annual Walk in Burlington, MA! We proudly rallied with hundreds of participants to raise awareness and funds for the care of local cancer patients and their families. We managed the planning and production of the event, and we’re always glad to take part in such an important cause.

Seacoast Cancer 5K Run/Walk
The 11th annual Seacoast Cancer 5K Run/Walk returned on September 15 to Portsmouth, NH! As one of the largest road races in the state, the event welcomed more than 1,500 participants to raise money for the Mass General Cancer Center at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. Conventures was actively involved with planning this year’s race, and was on-site to provide event management throughout race day.

Gorton’s 175th Anniversary
We partnered with Gorton’s Seafood for its 175th anniversary on September 14 to host a day-long party for 400 employees and their families and friends. The day was filled with great food, entertainment, and, of course, the color yellow! Conventures managed the pre-event logistics and supervised all elements of event-day production to make this party the talk of the town and sea in Gloucester, MA.

The Chiofaro Company Tenant Event
On September 17, we teamed up with The Chiofaro Company again to host an outdoor fun day for tenants at International Place, Boston’s largest office complex. With clear skies and sunny weather, tenants enjoyed a free lunch from local food trucks while enjoying live music from The Sultans and Maddi Ryan. We had a blast organizing this event for The Chiofaro Company, and we loved putting a smile on the tenants’ faces.

The New Englander of the Year Awards
On September 23, The New England Council recognized some of the region’s most impactful people at the 2024 Annual Dinner featuring the New Englander of the Year Awards. Hosted at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, the event had more than 1,400 attendees and included a networking reception before the awards dinner. Conventures once again handled event production to make the night one to remember for all honorees and guests.
