We bundled up in November and got to work! From shoveling at Harvard, to biking for lifesaving research, and dining with icons, we produced a wide variety of events supporting multiple valuable causes. Let’s check out some highlights.
A Groundbreaking Morning
We started the month assisting Tishman Speyer in breaking ground on Harvard University’s Enterprise Research Campus on November 1! The morning in Allston began with influential speeches from representatives involved in the new development, and ended with celebratory photos, refreshments, and a taste-of-Allston food sampling.
Covered All Our Bases
We ran registration at the star-studded Pedro Martinez Foundation Gala on November 10. Guests dressed to the nines and mingled with friends and legends including former Red Sox ace Pedro Martinez. Funds were raised at the gala for the great cause of helping children in the Dominican Republic.
Spin for Kids
The energy was electric at the Boston Children’s Hospital Ride to Cure Kids on November 11. We worked with Boston Children’s Hospital to put on a fun-packed morning of indoor cycling and fundraising for lifesaving research at Boston Children’s Hospital. The event fueled participants with good food, music, and more!
Happy Birthday, Marine Corps!
We were honored to organize the moving pieces of the Boston Marine Corps Birthday Luncheon on November 13. We spent the day filling the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center with more than 1,800 guests, and while some of our team handed out sweatshirts and sold raffle tickets, we also helped manage the full event from start to finish. The ceremony brought together Marines and their families to mingle, dine, and celebrate the 248th birthday of the United States Marine Corps.
Run Like a Girl
We spent November 18 at Suffolk Downs at the Girls on the Run 5K to celebrate fall and close out the running season. Each season, Girls on the Run provides a training program to young runners as they grow confidence and strength. The program culminates with the 5K as they run alongside fellow program members and receive a finisher medal to celebrate their achievement. We were thrilled to help pull the event together for more than 2,000 people.
Shiny Scissors!
We spent November 29 at Fábrica Lofts in Lawrence celebrating the opening of the new affordable housing apartment complex! We helped organize the ribbon cutting with the team from Trinity Financial, residents, and leaders from the Lawrence community. As the Commonwealth grapples with a housing shortage, we were excited to help celebrate this new building with future residents and the Lawrence community.
