With fall coming to an end and colder weather approaching, we got down to work to produce some stand out events this November! From running through the fall leaves to celebrating birthdays, we had an action packed month. Let’s check out some highlights!
COMPASS 50th Anniversary Celebration
We helped COMPASS celebrate its 50th anniversary in Foxborough, MA with a gala at Gillette Stadium on November 1. This anniversary event honored the past, present, and future of COMPASS while raising necessary funds for the organization’s important work with at-risk youth, adolescents and families. Conventures was on the ground helping with guest registration, venue management, and more throughout the evening.

Marine Corps Birthday Luncheon
The Conventures team was honored to help organize the Boston Marine Corps Birthday Luncheon again this year. The 249th birthday celebration took place on November 13 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, with more than 1,800 Marines and their family members in attendance. Our team helped manage the full event from start to finish, with a thorough event day timeline and all hands on deck to pass out raffle tickets and sweatshirts.

Girls on the Run Fall 5K
We were lucky to celebrate the end of the fall running season with the Girls on the Run Greater Boston Fall 5K! Each year, Girls on the Run provides a training program for young runners to build strength and confidence, which ends in a day of fun and solidarity for program members to run together. We joined more than 3,000 spectators on November 16 to watch participants receive their finisher medals to celebrate. We are always grateful for the opportunity to help organize this event, and can’t wait to return next year.

Programming at CanalSide
Our team spent the month of November helping CanalSide Food + Drink come alive with weekly events. We organized music performances and wellness activities to enhance the dining, drinking, and shopping experience for all CanalSide visitors. We are excited to continue these weekly events into December and January with free music and programming for all.
