Spring is here, and with it comes the return of outdoor events as we kick off a busy season ahead. The action ramped up last month with one of Boston’s most anticipated celebrations, the South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade, where we helped thousands of parade participants march along the route. Let’s take a look back at March 2025!

Off and Running — Eyes on the Fall!

Registration for the Boston 10K for Women is Open

In honor of International Women’s Day, registration for October’s Boston 10K for Women™ opened on March 7. To help celebrate, we teamed up with MYSTRYDE in Charlestown to host a group run on Saturday, March 8. The group run also included a drive for products to support Dignity Matters, one of the 2025 Boston 10K for Women’s official charities. The race returns for its 49th running on October 11, 2025, and is the longest-running all-women’s sporting event in New England.

Register for the 10K!

Shamrocks & Smiles

South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade

For the third time, we helped orchestrate the South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade! While smiling spectators lined the streets of South Boston on March 16, we guided parade participants from nearly 120 groups across the 3.8 mile parade route. After months of meetings with public safety agencies and community groups, Conventures was able to help the South Boston Allied War Veterans Council execute the exciting celebration.

Once again, Conventures assisted in organizing the St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast. The breakfast took place the morning of the parade and was held at the Ironworkers Local 7 Hall in South Boston. We were proud to help with the overall timeline and flow of the event.

Innovating Massachusetts Tourism

Massachusetts Governor’s Conference on Travel & Tourism

On March 18 –19, more than 450 travel and tourism professionals gathered at the MassMutual Center in Springfield for the Massachusetts Governor’s Conference on Travel and Tourism. The event showcased innovative strategies to position Massachusetts as a premier destination, leveraging international markets, emphasizing authentic storytelling, and marquee events like the Massachusetts 250 commemoration and so much more. Conventures orchestrated months of pre-conference planning, and assisted with day-of logistics.
