The Conventures team was on location in Cabo Verde to welcome The Ocean Race to the second stop on its round-the-world voyage. About 500 miles off the coast of Senegal, the island of São Vicente served as a perfect stop for the epic event. Gathering in the city of Mindelo, The Ocean Race represented the largest sporting event ever to visit Cabo Verde. The Conventures team prepared with both The Ocean Race and Cabo Verde leadership for several years on the event’s land and water operations.
